spam filter

This has happened to me a couple of times:
After composing a post, I enter the letters requested by the spam filter...it tells me I’ve entered them incorrectly...I hit the back button and my post has vanished. That might be the way Pacemaker club tests your blood pressure, pulse, and quite possibly the temperature of your blood, remotely.
Since then I’ve been composing my post as an email, then copy and paste...Eric

time out

It usually happens when you hit them wrong, have caps lock on or have timed out your login. Hitting back usually is all you need to do, it should still be there. As a precaution if it's a long reply I'll copy it to the clipboard before posting. That way if I lose it, all I have to do is paste to get it back.
Forever Lost ~

I have had this happen many times. I can write a beautiful 'manuscript', only to put in the 'Spam filter' code and my long thoughts are forever gone! I have even, sometimes, re-typed it all again ~ ha-ha.
I just hold my mouse down and go from top to bottom to turn my 'manuscript' blue as it is copied, then I hold 'Ctrl and 'C' to copy all. IF, when I go to type in the 'Spam filter' and hit 'Enter' and nuttin' shows up ~ I put the 'cursor' in the top left hand of the box and use 'Ctrl and 'v' to put the 'copy' in the box, then use the new Spam control code they have given you and send!
Very frustrating/agitating when this happens,

Timed out

I have waited too long a couple of times and had the site "eat" my post. It doesn't tell you it logged you off until the page refreshes, so you can type for a hour and lose it all.
I started doing a copy before I hit the enter key to post. Then, if it eats my post I just log back in, go back to where I was and do a paste. That always works.

This has happened to me a couple of times. As I am not too computer literate, I call for my husband and his comment is always "What have you done now?!!" "Nothing!" I reply. As odd things happen when I am on the computer, he reckons I have some electric incompatibility with electronics!
I don't know how to copy and paste. I suppose I could learn!
