Thanks to all who expressed concern for us due to our un-named storm. (i'm sure some have given it names it but I won't repeat them".).I'm here in north central Long Island, NY wondering when the plows will do my street. My town averages about 25 " of snow, if leveled, but the winds made drifts much higher.
Fortunately there have been few power outages due to trees falling on wires. For this we can thank hurricane Sandy which harvested thousands of trees.
My wife is thankful that she'll be able to watch Downton Abbey on the tv tomorrow.
