I don't feel this is a topic that is going to benefit a pacemaker patient or icd patient, so I will share my thoughts through personal message. Thank you.

It's tough

Finding a job these days is pretty tough even with a clean record. Keep on trying. I lost my drivers license after blacking out behind the wheel of a semi - lucky to live through that, and ended up with a loop recorder for a while, and now the doc wants to put in a pacemaker. Trying to get a job without having a DL is much more difficult than I ever imagined it would be, and after 10 months I finally found a full time position that is working out quite well.

difficult but not impossible

Hi! Our life choices do have consequences. You have taken a big step in the right direction, getting a job. Three strikes are not easy to overcome. Please do not become angry at others because they have doubts and make another mistake for your life. Some churches have programs to help a person find strength, resources and a new life. Do this for yourself. Your son needs YOU! Hopeful Heart
