Hi Guys,
Just thought we all need a bit of a reminder about the Photo Album we are trying to raise $500.00 for.. it has now been running for about six weeks and although we have managed $300.00 in donations.... it is not a lot when you consider how many members we have...I honestly thought we would reach the target in a week and still have some to go to Blakes charity.

It would be great to get this off the ground and for those who want to show their faces this will be your chance.. so let the moths out of you wallets and your purses.....Even Smitty has got his wanted poster from the post office waiting to go public with it!!!
For my part.....reach $500.00 by Sunday 30th September and I will double my donation .... if we make the target I am sure Blake will verify it.
If like me this site has been a great place to get some words of wisdom and support from... when you have felt so down and out..I find it is nice to be able to put something back which we will all benefit from.....after all we call each other our friends....it would be nice to see who we are friends with...... even though I have three heads and nine eyes... Susan (Pacergirl and I had a great time when we met..... have a great day all Peter

I agree with Peter! And it's so easy do to. I sent my check via mail and the postage was like a buck. I even emailed Blake to make sure he received my check, and he was gracious and emailed me back to let me know he had. So, come on pacers...UNITE!

Like you I truly thought the entire $500 plus some would be collected in the first couple of weeks.
Just last night I was thinking I should post another reminder about the photo album fund. Thanks for doing it. I am amazed that more people haven't sent in a donation, or maybe it is a lot of people sending in just a dollar or 2. Everyone out there - please, if you have not already donated send a small contribution to the Photo Album Fund. This is already a pretty tight group of folks but I think having pictures would bring us even closer to one another. I love the idea that I can see the face of who I am "talking" to via this club website. For those of you who absolutely cannot donate - that is okay. You can still have your picture posted - this album is for everyone, not just those who send $$$$$.

you know what if it is even 400 dollars by sept. 30th i will double my donation. then we would be close close close. so just send in a donation if you can and the fun can begin lol lol jessie

Welcome aboard.

First I've got to ask was your last name Tucker in another life? We had a pretty little blond, several years younger than me, in my home town many years ago and that was the only other time I've ever heard that name.

Now to answer your question, someone came up with the idea of having a place to post our pictures, if we had the nerve. As Peter said that way we can see how many of us have outstanding physical features. To include that provision on the site will cost about $500 and since is not a necessity for the performance of the site we are taking up a collection to spare admin the cost of doing this. As you know the site is provided free of charge and it has meant so much to many of us, well we didn’t think it was fair to ask for this feature and foot the cost.

As for how do you donate, look on the right side of the home page and you will see and item labeled “Photo Album Fundraiser” click on that and follow the instructions if you decide to contribute. Donations are strictly voluntary and no one will ever know if you do not contribute.
