Hello there everyone.
regarding Pacergirls posting below....Yes we are nearly there, this time next week Susan and her husband will be here with my wife and I .. it is hard to believe all this has come from a click of a mouse on this fantastic site...I would like to thank Blake and co for their hard work in keeping this club up and running........ but also there would be no club without all the caring members there are here ...I would like to thank you one and all for all the support and kindness you have shown me over the last year. Without this club and it's members and their support this visit by Susan and hubby would never have came about.....and would also add that in all it has improved my quality of life no end I actually feel like I am back in the real
world again...I have read so many of your postings and a lot of members have talked about meeting ect like blueaustralia and rewiredassiegirl..... life is short go for it I say ...... I am looking forward so much to next week... it has got to be one of the highlights of my life... So you beautiful people I wish you all health and happiness and Susan and I will think of you while we are enjoyong our selves here in the UK

well peter and susan i wish both of you a fabulous visit. noone can quite understand what we go through except another pacer with the same issues...it is a shock and one i am trying to absorb still. i guess i am a baby because it has not been a year. life isn't always fair but hey we are still here and you know some people i know aren't anymore. so we just went for a drive and we looked in a backyard and we saw a deck built around a pool. we are doing our backyard for us with a deck and a small round pool. it is just over 4 feet deep and fine for the two of us. it will be sturdy and easy for us to get in only one step and we both like the idea. our friend is 550 pounds and he can't golf anymore because both knees are gone. he is really in bad shape and it will only get worse. so there are worse things.peter you have done so well considering where you were three months ago. it gives one courage to put one foot in front of the other. way to go.have a wonderful visit. happy mother's day to nina. jessie

Hi Pete and Susan..This is so exciting for you.I am sure you will have a great time.
I have made great pals with Billie(blueaustralia). We see each other a couple of times a year and email and phone each other. We have so many laughs and our hubbies get on really well.(They dont like us shopping together though as we shop till we drop!!)
We are getting together in Nov again. We had trouble with our photos last time but will get some together in

I am just now 40 but have had these blackouts all my life. I am thrilled with the pacer and would do it all over again.
Enjoy your visit!

Hi Peter, I just posted a note to Susan and will say the same thing to you: How very lucky to finally meet your pacemaker friend in person. Isn't it amazing what can happen over the internet? The connection you and Susan made is priceless and I hope you enjoy every single minute together with your spouses. The pacemaker club brings us all together no matter where we are located. That is nothing short of a miracle to me! I will be waiting to hear back from you about all the wonderful things you did during the visit. Take care and God bless.
