My 50th Birthday!

I am proud to announce that as of now,March 31st I am now a member of the 50 yr old club! Surprisingly enough, not depressed!
I am thankful to be alive after receiving my PM almost 9 months ago,I feel good, and am able to do whatever I want to,which makes me happy.
My family had a surprise party for me last night, with friends, family and some almost forgotten friends there, which was better than anything.
I am so happy to have such people around me,who am glad Im here.My family kept this secret for awhile, which is unheard of,someone always drops a clue, but this time they all were tight lipped.
I am also thankful for all here who have made these past 9 months easy for me,with my new addition to my life and body.
Wasnt a easy ride in the beginning, now things are so much better.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter, and has family and friends as wonderful as mine to support them, everyone deserves that.
Laura-a.k.a.50 yr old-and loving it!

I'm 35 and got my pacemaker a little over a year ago. It definitely is not a burden to me. In fact, I have more energy (which my husband enjoys), can do more things with my kids and have weight because of having the energy.
