Afib reductions

I have had my PM for about a 1 1/2 years. Everything is going fine but I finally have a question that my Cardio Doctor can't answer. My first three PM reports show several thousand Afibs
on each report.

Now the last two reports show only 1 Afib and 3 Afibs.

Any ideas????
Thanks, Clarencio

No suppression algorithm or medication changes.
My cardiologist is also a cardiopysyologist (sp.)
He practices at UVA in Virginia. and in my opinion a very sharp guy. We talked about this awhile and he admitted that he has seen this happen in the past but there was usually a reason for it, but in my case he has no idea why it happened.

Hoping that happens to me

My EP told me my PM would not stop my afib episodes but will make them less frequent and easier to treat, since my medication (metoprolol) could be increased without fear of bradycardia occurring. Initially, I had "thousands" of incidents, since the PM counts even a one-second reversion to NSR as the end of an afib event, even if another starts immediately. Since my med was raised to 100 mg twice a day, I have had no episodes. (Knock on wood, since this is only the 10-week point for me.) My question is, are you on a higher dose of medication now?

Any medication changes?

Did they turn on an A-Fib suppression algorithm?
