G'Day Jax
There should not be any problems. I've had plenty of acupuncture over the last three years since my pacer and always feel better for it. I actually had several sessions the week the pacer was implanted to reduce bruising and scaring and to quicken recovery generally. It worked a treat. Make sure your therapist is registered with all the right governing bodies for the industry. Also make sure they know about the pacer and where it is implanted and why it was needed (even if that is not specific for the purpose of this particular visit). The only contraindication that may apply is electro-acupuncture. This will depend partly on the competence of the therapist and on the guidelines that they work to. I know therapists who insist that electro is fully contraindicated in patients with implants, on the other hand I know of others (my own therapist included) who are quite comfortable using electro in these situations. If either you or your therapist is unsure then best to ere on the side of caution. But needles / moxa / cupping - the more the better!

Had a treatment last week after my cardiologist said it was ok
Don't think it helped but it'd hard to tell for sure
