Does anyone on this site have Congenital Heart Disease and have tattoos? I have been wanting a small tattoo for over a year but I am not sure because i have heard it can cause an infection. I have my ears and belly button pierced and i never had an infection. I always take antibiotic before i go to dentist so that's why I am a little concerned about getting a tattoo.
Anyone with tattoo experience? Let me know
Jenn =)

Have fun!

It's probably ok! As long as you go someplace reputable the risk of infection should be very small, smaller than the risk from the piercings. Just don't get it done over your pm.
Also, check the AHA and ADA websites. They have drastically shortened the list of conditions that they recommend antibiotics for dental procedures. I pretreated for many years but stopped about 5 years ago. It took my dentist several years and a call from my cardiologist to get comfortable with it.
