Hello Friends,

Thank you for all the congratulations and advice on Dotties's and my 64 years of wedded bliss. (Is that what you call it?) Anyway we have had a few days of celebration and that is about all the old folks can handle.

I did get one question that I would like to answer. Ronaldo asked if I gave advice on women - or something to that effect - and my answer is not often but I will do it here because it is very simple. You have to learn to use only a few statements. They are "yes dear," "you are right dear," "I'll be right there dear" and the most important one "I love you."

Use those statements at the appropriate times and avoid lots of
arguments. And I learned a long time ago that winning an argument with Dottie was most often not worth the trouble.

My Smitty... my husband and I will celebrate our 67th anniversary in May. Isn't that strange that those are the very same statements that he makes every day!!!!

Forgive me for not replying to your message yesterday, but when I read about Frank I kind of lost interest in the PMC. He was such a blessing to this club. I wonder if he would have believed how much he will be missed by so many people.

I knew you were ahead of us on marriage longevity but I didn't know how much. Now I know and I hope you will let us know when the day arrives. I agree, that if people would stop and think before getting angry, there would be less turmoil in this old world. But all we can do is hope.
