My daughter has an implant which sends signals to the brain through the vegus nerve. More or less continuously. It reduces - but does not eliminate - her seizures. I believe the process is most effective on frequent, low intensity seizures.. Hers tend towards grand mal. She is still on meds, as well.

Lets see how it works for the heart... Technology marches on by fits and starts.

Does this solution deal with those electrical misfirings in the heart that are due to a problem in the brain? I had the impression that nodal problems were local to the heart itself...
