I have only just found this out but since having pm 4 years ago, sometimes when I use my hairdryer the front doorbell rings. No one ever there. I don't hear it but my husband does, and has only just thought to tell me. I wonder if there is any connection to PM or just an electrical phenomenon?!!

..........forgive my levity...This is surely a simple case of having a Poltergeist in your doorbell...
A quick call to your local Pastor should sort things out....beware though should he arrive with some holy water...irresponsible over-blessing of the doorbell must only be done in the knowledge that the doorbell is properly earthed/grounded.
Any qualified electrician will happily do a earthing/grounding test for the standard extortionate fee..
Don't thank me Annie...it really is the least that I could do !!!

For all the comments, and laughs, particularly Tattoo Pom Man. I think we shall just leave it. By the way TM I used to be a Pom too. Came to Oz on a working holiday (SRN) in 1965; Met my beloved so stayed here.

No connection whatsoever.
Have a qualified electrician check your circuits - in the house that is.
