I haven't been here for a while, as am in Melbourne with daughter. My son in law died 10 days ago from Melanoma. He never once complained about his illness. He left 3 small children. It makes my pacemaker seem a very small inconvenience

What a painful time this must be for all of you. Whenever I have a pity party, I remind myself that my problems are treatable - such a gift. Your post reminded me of that again. How is your daughter-in-law holding up? Poor gal. I've heard that Australia has an incredibly high rate of melanoma.
Thank you for sharing such a hurt with us. Continue to love on those little ones. I'm sure they need you so much right now.
God, please grant Annie comfort in the days ahead. May her daughter-in-law and grandchildren know the peace that passes all understanding.
Niecey
Thanks

Thanks everyone for your kind comments. I really appreciate them even though not a pm problem. I just wanted you all to know as club is precious to me.. Daughter is holding up well. My husband is dealing with all the legal stuff, which although is all in order, turns out is complicated by government and lawyers.
Alma Annie.
so very true

At age 20, I will be getting a pacemaker in few weeks along with an SA node ablation. This opportunity may change a five year prognosis into a normal life span! I look forward to being a little old lady with a wicked cane!
Condolences

My heart goes out.to you, your daughter, and your grandchildren. I offer sympathy for your loss of this stoic person. Humbling to hear of his graciousness and indeed offers perspective for my own petty concerns. Thank you for sharing. ~Janenotarzan
