My pm is not MRI compatible. A year ago I needed one as I had a TIA but had to make do with a CT scan. Fortunately all was well although I was told an MRI would have been better. My question is, what happens if I were to really need an MRI, for example if I had a stroke? I am 100% paced in atrium, but not too much in the ventricle.

It may be the first time we've felt a normal heart rhythm in a long time, so of course it seems too fast and too strong.

Usually with us they make do with what they can. There are more hospitals now that are able to do mri's on us, so if it came down to us we could travel to one of those facilities and have the mri.
