I have a Medtronic Revo MRI Sure Scan pacemaker and need an MRI. MY local hospital will not do it. Has anyone had a problem with having an MRI with this pacemaker?

It can be done, but as you just learned, it can't be done just anywhere. Ask your cardiologist for a referral.

I also have a Medtronic revo and successfully had a cardiac MRI with zero problems (about three and a half weeks after implant) Your EP or cardiologist should know where you can get an MRI done. Mine was in the same hospital as my pm surgery.
Good luck!

No problem with MRI but I was at a hospital with the Medtronic office next door. So there was a lot of cross training.
More knowledgeable members on the forum can give you details as to what kind of MRI equipment will work with MRI compatible PM and leads. There are differences.
Also MRI scan isn't to go over the PM. So depending upon what you are having scanned may be a problem.
