Follow-up from last weeks EKG

Hi peeps,

Just wanted to follow up with my story regarding "Inverted T Waves", went for a echo cardiogram this morning and the test revealed that I have what is called Apical Variant Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. It's a thickening in the upper left corner of my ventricles.

I asked my cardio, if this could be a consequence from my active lifestyle, I do a lot of jogging and swim at the local YMCA for over 25 years. She really didn't say much.

I've heard of athletic hearts being large, I wonder if this is what I really have.

This all came about, when I went for a physical, was hooked up to a EKG and the tests revealed "Inverted T Waves"

I was just wondering if anybody out there has ever had this condition.

For the time being, I will have this checked out from time to tiime.

Sometimes a device must be tuned a few times before it is right. My cardiologist said it is like fine tuning a car.
