I am 100% paced by my PM. Need advice regards possible problems regards; airflights, trains including high speed electric, ferries, channel tunnel train and anything else regards travel. Feeling the need to find the sunshine!
Many Thanks

After nine years, I just had my pacemaker battery replaced. During those years I never wondered about any kind of travel or the effect on the PM. And everything's been great. I did read the small booklet that came with the PM, and never worried about anything that wasn't discussed in there.

Yes, do all of those ! I have used all the modes of travel that you have listed in the past year. Right now you will need more than the channel tunnel to get to decent sunshine though !
Best of luck
Ian

for the tunnel ( I live in Alaska) I have done planes, trains, cars (wasn't that a movie) & the ferry in Seattle lots of times.Airport scanners are better now just don't let them wand you. PM's don't like the wand. In fact I am off to HI via Seattle in Feb to thaw out too.
Have fun in the sun,
Janet

As for my pacemaker (almost 7 years old) I like to think of it in the terms of the old Timex commercial - takes a licking and keeps on ticking.
go have fun

I've done all of the above! Have fun, it's not big deal traveling with a pm. Just have your id card nearby in case you need it. I've never needed it at airports but a few times had to have it to go in government buildings that had security.
