Hello all,
Does anybody know if there is a correlation between PVCs and being active. I jog roughly 50 miles a week, but noticed an increase in my PVCc, I just had a 4 month follow-up and my PVC singles are 5470 accoring to my Final Interrogation Report.
By the way, my AP/VP is 0%. I'm not pacing at all. The last report was AS/VS 99.7%. (May 2, 2013)
Would appreciate anybody's input.
Thanks,

Hi Jerry,
Thanks for your input, much appreciated.
I'm thinking, if I haven't heard from my EP, I'm not going to freak out.

PVCs & running
by golden_snitch - 2013-09-09 01:09:44
Hi Moner!
I had quite a few PVCs while running when I started last year. They were also recorded during a treadmill test. I asked my cardio and my EP professor, and they both said that I should just continue to run and try to ignore them. In my case, the number of PVCs decreased when my body got used to running. Today, whenever I take a break from running, and then start again, the PVCs are back, but just for the first couple of runs. It's really interesting.
Don't let the PVCs discourage you, especially not, if your heart muscle is healthy; PVCs when exercising in someone who has, for instance, had a heart attack, should be taken more serious.
Best wishes
Inga
Thanks Inga,

Hi Inga,
Thanks for taking the time away from your studies to answer my question.
Hoping your research project is going along smootly.

Are you bragging or...

..complaining?
4 Months - that's 120 days.
5470 PVC's - that's 45 per day
That's about 2 per hour
I average 960 singles per day - about 2 PVC's every 3 minutes.
They are no big problem to normal daily living. Caused by stress, being tired, exertion.
I never sense them. I've had them for over ten yrss now.

and me

I've experienced PVCs for the past 25 years and always been told not to worry about them. During those years my activity levels have varied enormously from very fit to not so, but PVCs haven't. After I had my PM 5 weeks ago I thought they might stop, but of course they are there just as before. For me they are more prevalent when I'm at rest - or is it that I only really notice them when I'm at rest? Guess my rate is similar to Dons. As it has been so long with them and my heart is good, except for the electrics, I just don't worry about them.

PVC's

PVCâs can be exercise induced. Iâve had them for years. I canât remember not having them. Most of them are begin and mean nothing. I do all kinds of exercise and work out 5-6 days a week. I do cardio, weights, bike, elliptical, tennis, golf, hike, etc. with no problems. If you think they are excessive get it checked out.
