I haven't posted in a long time. I had my pacemaker placed in Feb. 2012 due to tachy-brady syndrome. It took about a year to get it set, making adjustments every 3 months. Feeling really pretty good now. Interestingly I had been having more afib episodes the end of last year. I have a lot of stress right now (work, going to school, family, etc) and finally spoke with my physician and he started me on Lexapro 5mg daily the middle of February. Well it is strang but ever since then my afib has decreased significantly! I have my interrogation next week and am very interested to see if this is true and if the pacer is firing is less (have been about 70% paced). Has anyone else experienced this?

A properly implanted and adjusted pacemaker will not even be noticeable after you get over the surgery.
Not surprised

Not surprised that Lexapro has helped reduce your afib. It must be relieving your stress and reducing stress hormones, and that helps your heart. Nice "side effect!"
