Hi everyone, I am sorry I haven't been back again for a while, I know I told you folks about all the pvc's that I have had, and vt's, during my echo, on Thursday I had a stress test done, it came back adnormal, their not telling me much, this next Wednsday I have to go for a heart catheterization, last one I had was before their put my ICD/CRT-D in. The reason I haven't been here for a while I was put on oxygen with my cpap machine, my heart doctor finally did tell me, that the low blood oxygen levels is all heart relate, their not even sure if I have blockage or something more, I will let you all know one way or not, So far I haven't had any blockage, only stage 3 heart failure, I know for while now I feel like I did before the device was put in same syumtons, got enegry, yet I get real tired fast, when I walk which I like to do, I get out of breathe, I have always been short of breath, my chest hurts so bad, heart doctor put me back on nitroglycerin again for a while I didn't need it. Has any one else had to go through so much with heart problems. Part of me is scared.
Love Carolann

I too am so sorry you are hurting and scared. Issues with our hearts are very scary! I live daily in fear and anxiety, but I have a mediocre doctor and his office staff is incompetent, so getting anything done is a ridiculous challenge. I am trying to change cardios but that is not being made easy either.
Hang in there! Many of us know how you feel.

You should get some answers soon Carolann. Try not to worry....easier said then done, I know.
It sounds like your Doctors are being very thorough, that's good.

I've seen many posts about people being concerned about exercise after having a device so thought I would let you know that yesterday I raced my first marathon since having my pacemaker fitted in fall 2004.
Heart Cath

Hmmmm. Quite a few things going on for you. Stress test abnormal, heart cath needed, CPAP machine, on oxygen, nitro doesn't work. You have sleep apnea because you have a CPAP.
Apparently something isn't giving your body enough oxygen.
The heart cath will give the doctor's a look see at what's going on inside the arteries and veins. That may give some answers as to what is going on.
The heart cath isn't that big a deal. Mine was uncomfortable because they went up through the groin. I understand the newer heart cath procedures go in through the arm now so it's a much less stress to your body.
Questions: Do you know if you have central sleep apnea? Have you had cardio therapy?
I'm thinking it could be many different things. Before guessing and getting you alarmed, the doctors want to have a look see before making a decision.
Waiting around to find out what is going on can really drive you insane. But, on the other hand, there isn't too much you can do about it.
In the meantime, as much as you can, I'd study your camera manual. See if you can find some new options you haven't used before. Try to keep your mind off what "could" be and concentrate on things over which you have control.
Hopefully they'll find out what is going on. I wish you the best.
