Advice :-)

Hi to everyone who's going to read this message. I'm not sure from where to start, but as you can read from my previous messages, I've been diagnosed with congenital AV block 3rd degree, since 2007, and I wasn't put on thr pacemaker list so I don't have a pacemaker. However, then I had 21 years, and now I'm 29. I got married and I want to have children. So, is there someone who can say a word or two to me, what to do. My doctor said that because of the absence od the symptoms there is no need of a pacemaker, and that I can have a baby without any problems. But the question is : Is there a risk for me or the baby if I get pregnant without a pacemaker?
Thanks to everyone

pregnancy

I was born with Congenital Complete Heart block. (same as 3rd degree but I've had it my whole life) I have 2 sons, 15 and 18. I didn't get my pacemaker until my youngest was 6. There were no issues for me or my kids when I was pregnant/giving birth. The only thing my cardiologist wanted was for me to have an ob with my pregnancy. (I usually saw the midwife for my yearly exam) Also, when I was in labor he wanted me to have an epidural so there would be less stress on my heart. (no argument from me there) That was with my oldest. With my youngest I was allowed to stay with the midwife (they still did the births in the hospital) since I had no issues with my first pregnancy. They didn't consider me high risk but I know each person is different.

Thanks

Firstly thank you for replying me, it means a lot to me. Now, I know that each person has its own different situation, but I would like to hear some real life situations. As I said I am really in doubt what to do, since my cardiologist told me that there is no need for a PM. However, I live in a country where there aren't any cases like me, and that's the reason why I want to hear from you all as much as possible. To be honest, I'm really scared, because doctors here in Macedonia are not so sure what to do, and if they do not know how can I know?!?!? I'm I right??? I'm 29 now and I really want to have child so I need assurance that there isn't a risk for me or the baby. If there is I would definitely go on surgery.
Anyway, thank you, I really appreciate your words

But I think it will make me feel a lot better. My stamina to walk is already better, even right after surgery. They had me walk all around the floor before they would release me. I did so without being exhausted and winded the way I had been.
