I know these messages are usually for questions and support.. but I just had to announce that yesterday I was pinned as a nurse and tomorrow I GRADUATE with my BSN! All this with congenital heart block, a couple arrhythmias, and MVP. I even got awarded the Clinical Excellence Award for demonstrating clinical thinking and communication skills in clinical practice!!!
To all my pacemaker friends with dreams, there is HOPE.

Indeed there is hope, and if you look in the mirror---you will see what hope looks like. For me hope is the young, and not so young, who have taken that hope and carried it to be a fact. You are now a RN, go forth and have a wonderful life. Thank you, Jean
How good is this.

Nursing is a wonderful career and lifestyle. I used to be an RN, and loved it. That you have trained with heart problems is an example to all. Many congratulations.

I hope you choose to work in the cardio unit. It would be such a blessing to those there to have someone like you who understands.

Napoleon said it in about 1806: "In Battle, the mental is to the physical as three is to one."
You are a prime example of the truth of that maxim - which applies to all phases of life.
You will do very well.

A lot of hard work....You should be very proud.
Having gone through what you have, you will probably make a wonderful, compassionate and empathetic Nurse.
Life does go on....onward and upward!

Not only can you walk the walk, you also talk the talk.
Congratulations on your fine achievement.

You know you're wired when...
You have an excuse for gaining an extra ounce or two.
