...There can be few left who are Rock-and-Rollers and have not heard of the death of 'Lemmy' from Motorhead....But....

How many knew that he had a pacemaker / defib device put in a couple of years ago ??

Now there are a whole bunch of Members who don't see that this is an appropriate topic to field here on PMC...just look over the LH side and check out Famous Members....OK ??

I can just see Lemmy telling his Surgeon that no sedation would be necessary ..." Half a bottle of JD and I'll be as quiet as a lamb"......yeah...right !

The obituaries to Lemmy made interesting reading

They included good advice for anyone on here with diabetes !

Having drunk a bottle of Jack Daniels every day for 40 years he was diagnosed with diabetes so he then switched to a bottle of vodka a day instead.

He lived till he was 70 !!

Do you think we are all a little over-cautious with our health ?

Lemmy's drug intake was legendary but I bet he was never persuaded to take statins .
