....................................after the Boston Marathon..we just might make up a joined-up link that we could , as a group,..send to ,..whoever may benefiet..a statement, from the Administrators,..just a brief, and to the heart statement.

A demonstration of our collective feelings,..religious or otherwise.

Guys..its Humanity that we are dealing with here.

Some runners kept on going running to the hospitals ..to give blood so there may benefiet...

you want blake to send a letter to bostons mayor maybe ?it is unfathoble to think i could even comprehend what that father is going thru who ran the race then lost his eight year old son then his daughter lost a leg and his wife both legs.a condolence letter may be a nice gesture. jessie

My daughter-in-law applied for a place in the Boston marathon. Places are automatically given to entrants if their previous performance is considered to be in the " good for your age category " . She wanted to be one of the 350 runners from the UK who were taking part.

If her D.O.B. had been one week earlier she would have been given a place. She wasn't . I shudder to think what could have happened to this mother of 3 young boys had she been given an entry for the run .

As it is, she is running in the London Marathon this Sunday . I will be supporting her together with my 3 grand-sons.

I think the best thing we can do to show solidarity with the Bostonians and the visitors to their marathon is to carry on as normal . The sick bastards behind the bombing must be shown that they achieve nothing !
