IF I MAY,,....................

...................., might I invite fellow members of the Brit Pack to add to my best wishes to all in America who are experiencing the truly harsh conditions currently hitting your Eastern States.

We are no strangers here in the UK to tough weather, but there is no doubt that what you are getting really is pretty extreme.

We pride ourselves here on PMC that we take care of eachother...over the Pond it seems that being neighbourly at this moment is at a critical point..

Three weeks ago, good friends from Connecticut and NY State were good enough to support me.....its my turn now.

Take care,..all of you.

Well, as a Brit in Connecticut, thank you for your kind thoughts - we got 15" of snow in my town, but my stepdaughter got 3 feet! The snow is powdery, unlike the stuff we usually would get in the UK, but as a result the wind is blowing it into huge drifts.

I was thinking about the member here who asked if it was OK to shovel snow: I hope so, because I'm not getting out of here if I don't :)

Think you may be getting some snow in the UK this week yourselves, so be prepared!

I second that

As one of the Brit Pack in Australia I send my good wishes to all those experiencing harsh conditions. My dear friend jessie from this site keeps me up with the news.

One More Thing!

Hey TM,

Noodles for Brains?

II think not, 've seen some pretty witty and clever retorts from both you and Ian MC!

Now if you excuse me, I must go back into the kitchen and figure out what I'm going to eat next.

Casper

Thanks My Friends

Hi TM,

Thanks for your kind words, it's not too fun over here right now in Connecticut.

I must have packed on a few lbs. by now, because I can't get out and jog, all I'm doing is eating, watching TV with the family or on the internet, and did I mention eating?!

Hopefully, Spring will be right around the corner.

Hope you're staying warm and cozy over in your corner of the world.

And remember, you still are recovering from your little procedure, so DON'T even think about shoveling yet.

Take care,

Casper

Thinking of you all

Hi from me in the UK. Hubby & I watched the pictures on the news yesterday of how much snow you've had in the USA. We were shocked at how high the drifts were in some areas. A few weeks ago Heathrow Airport almost came to a complete standstill with just a few inches of snow over here in London!! Yet over there you are dealing with SO much more. I send you all my thoughts & best wishes & hope the snow goes away soon. Take care.
Best wishes
Janey
