Constriction and a tightening.

I have had my PM for a couple of years now without any major issues, other than the teething problems intially. But, once with the help of my good friends here, I had it set where I wanted, it was smooth sailing until now.
In the recent months, I get this constricting feeling, accompanied by involuntary coughing...its the feeling I get when I am having my PM check up and they adjust the settings for testing...it goes away after a while.
My Cardiologist claims it normal, since I have not had it in the last 2 years, I was curious if any one else has experienced it.
