Stay Hydrated !!

My HR hit a new high today at 222....3-4 minutes AFTER exercising ended. Suddenly it shot up and took about 6-7 seconds to come back down. Of course it felt a lot longer as I was staring at my HR monitor as it rapidly flashed the numbers. It's been pretty humid here all week but I'm always drinking water.

Been taking it easy ever since....feeling a little off tonight. Just a reminder to all to stay hydrated.

Of course, I have NO idea what my pulse is when I work out , which I do very little of .. I am active, IMO .. But a pulse of 222 scares me to death .I'd think this to be far too rapid .

I always joked before the blood pressure meds when I would go to work out.

we are shooting for the top heart rate. and mine would be there before we started working out.

Now I get to play the balanceing act. Stay hydrated enough so kidney function stays at level 3 failure. but not to hydrated to cause congesting with my heart failure.

here recently even with a beta blocker, I have found myself doing simple things and my pulse will be in the 180 to 275 range. feel flustered and lightheaded. Get really tired.

Grateful Heart,

It is a Major Concern. and wearing a Zoll Lifevest,

Which has a heart monitor and a defibulator built in.

Oct 5 I get another Echo, if the EF is still below 35% will do an ICD. If it is better, then not and more adjustments to the meds to help with the rhythm, abalation(sp) was also discussed. but everything right now is the lifevest and what the results are on Oct 5. and the Follow up on oct 12th

I had a pacemaker when I was 11. I never once thought I wasn't a 'normal kid' nor was I ever treated differently because of it. I could do everything all my friends were doing; I just happened to have a battery attached to my heart to help it work.
