Watched the news tonight....

....once again the first responders ran to the sound of the guns.

A salute to the man w/ the pistol who faced a man w/ a shotgun. And came out the winner. That took more than guts - that took a sense of duty backed up by good training.

And to the soldier who died - Your work is done; your course on earth is run; WELL DONE; Be thou at peace. May the citizens of your country appreciate what you have done for them.

from 6 months in canada (we have a summer home there). we always say if the politics don't go our preference in the next election, we will move to canada. no place is safe anymore! sad sad sad. amen to remarks above from grateful heart and donr.
