NYS Pulse Ox bill is signed into law!

New York State Governor signed the Pulse Ox Bill for newborns:

All babies in NYS will be screened for life-threatening heart defects.

Great news for newborns and their families.

Hi! Grateful Heart, It is a shame it takes a law to prevent such early tragedy in a newborn's life, but it is a good law. Two of our eight grandchildren are in our arms today because of early intervention. Thank you for sharing. Hopeful Heart

There are at least 10 states now, probably more but it is not nationwide yet.

and read more about it. They have sample letters you can send to your state legislators to sponsor a bill if your state does not have this law yet.
