Sure Scan

Has anyone had their pacemaker and leads exchanged for the Sure Scan pacer? I am about due for a battery change, but my leads are only 10 years old. I have had some back problems and my doctors want to do an MRI, so they are thinking of doing a lead extraction to replace all of my equipment for the Sure Scan. I'm a little nervous about an extraction. Just wanted to know if anyone has done this yet and get their thoughts.

For some reason the date of your question  is not  showing on my device    Have you done this?  I just got the new pacemaker and thought wow now I can get an MRI but based on your question , it sounds like I would need leads changed too, right?
