I have just bought a book :-

" Pacemakers made Easy " . It is written by Carl Robinson who is a senior cardiac physiologist in a UK hospital. It has 149 pages of well-written, clearly illustrated content covering most aspects of the joys of having a PM:-

- Very clear description of what a PM implant involves

- Great explanations of the various PM settings i.e.
Pacemaker Mode / Pacing threshold/ Sensitivity / Lower Rate Limit / Upper Rate limit / Sensor rates etc

- the sections on impedance and the potential for interference from external electromagnetic radiation sources are particularly interesting.

As far as I know it is available in most countries.

I guess I should make it clear that

- I don't know the author ( although he has posted on here in the past )

- I am not receiving commission on sales .. Dammit !

Many of the questions which are frequently asked on here are clearly covered and I am glad that I bought it !
