Greetings All.
Before having a biotronic pace inserted, I used to us an apparatus known as "Respirate". It is a device that is supposed to lower one's blood pressure by ausing a breathing technique. A belt with a sensor which is connected to the the respirate apparatus is placed around your chest, the machine plays music and the mach. instructs you how to breathe. My question is since I have a pacer with a programed heart I'm wondering if its safe to use the respirate, since it is supposed to lower your bp by decreasing your heart rate.
Any suggestions
appreciate any info.

I've seen many posts about people being concerned about exercise after having a device so thought I would let you know that yesterday I raced my first marathon since having my pacemaker fitted in fall 2004.

Unless the machine has magnets in it, you can try it. It may or may not work. The pm will not let your rate get too low now, it will keep you in sync regardless of what you are doing with your breathing.
