Sore shoulder!!

Hi everyone just a quick question, does anyone have slight pain or a aching sensation in their shoulder where their icd or pacemaker lives. I seem to get this in the colder months and wondered if it was normal or am i the only one thanks.

Yes I have a very sore left shoulder. It has been investigated and nothing can be done as I am not able to have an MRI so the surgeon was not keen to operate unless he was absolutely sure where the pain was. I had an ijection and it helps keep the pain at bay. If I continually lift my left arm overhead it will bring on the pain. I have had this problems since I had my pacemaker. I dread the really cold weather and will drape a piece of flannel over my shoulder next to my skin on that side or wear a scarf for an extra layer for warmth which seems to help. Just have to suffer it.

I had lots of pain in my shoulder, with the last icd I had. 6years ago. This past nov I had a replacement and was very careful about how I slept. I used to use a extra pillows and when I stopped that it actually got better. if I'm extra tired sometimes it hurts in the upper part. Nothing like my first icd did.

When I first had my ICD implanted which was about 1month and a half ago I had a very sore shoulder which didn't go away for about a month and my doctor said it was completely normal.

I'm not sure how long you've had your's in for now but whenever I felt my shoulder becoming sore or "frozen" i would get a few pillows and let my arm rest on them until it went away. I would also do gentle rotations with my shoulder daily. Hope it help you too.
