Hope this makes sense!

Hi fellow pacers/iICD ers!

I really hope I explain this properly but for those that don't know me here is a quick summary about me!
32 years old And the owner of a multi lead ICD for obstructive cardiomyopathy. I have had a mixed year but being honest, having more good days than bad so can't complain to much! I still have a fairly active lifestyle with cycling, gym etc although don't train anywhere near As hard as I used to! Recently, when lying relaxed or going to sleep, there are occasions when I am feeling as if my heart is slow rapidly... Then all of a sudden I feel as if I have a bolt! I have been shocked before so know its not that bit it feels extremely uncomfortable and certainly causes a little concern. I am based 100pc as my Hr was in the late 20s at resting and would drop to 11/12 when sleeping. I believe I am paced at 61bpm now. The bolt is like a harder beat! Can't really explain it but it does freak me a little! Any suggestions? I will call my cardio tomorrow!
Best
Darren

Hi Darren, that sounds like the feeling when one of my leads malfunctioned a few years ago.... It was nothing to worry about and the doc still let me go work on a project in Tanzania, so I didn't worry... Just felt weird! Good luck?
