Remember me ???

Hi, just thought l would say a quick hello to everyone. Sorry l haven't been on the site lately, been very busy since December. We moved house & l now have my little country cottage, l love it out here,so peaceful but we did have flooding which is pretty common apparantly (now they tell us) but l had loads of sandbags at the doors which made getting in & out a bit like an assault course but it made me feel more secure.
Health wise l am doing okay & l am hoping all my friends here can say the same.
Well Tat & IAN hope you two are behaving (Not really it would only worry me if you were) l miss the banter we used to have but l am sure you have managed to replace me, but do they have SHEDS thats what you need to consider ? Now l am rural l have an abundance of them, one for every occasion ??
Take care,
Sue X

........................so pleased to hear that you are doing fine and that the flooding wasn't too bad.

Welcome back.

With regards to your Shed Thread....both myself and IAN MC have been deeply saddened by your absence...indeed he has PMg'd me on several occasions telling me of the sleepless nights and the loss of appetite...he confided in me that on one or two occasions he was so low that he swam to the Golf Club to seek solace,..all on his own,.. at the submerged bar

You underestimate our fidelity Dear Heart...there has never been a 'replacement'...and there never will be....it would take much more than a Pretty Shed to turn our heads !!

But,..enough of our misery...for myself I can only say that my heart soars at the very thought of your 'Rural Abundance'

Welcome back Sue....TM x

Remember You !!!!!!!!!

Sue I remember you when you were a " townie " long before you ever even thought of going all rural.

Tattoo Man described my symptoms of missing you very well; but doesn't absence make the heart grow stronger, or something like that ? ( my cardiologist works on that principle, he's never there when I need him ! )

Glad you're doing well health-wise, Sue, your new hobby of sandbag climbing must be helping.

As you are living in the countryside now, I thought a joke about cows may cheer you up :-

Q : What do get from cows that only have legs on the left hand side ?

A: Lean meat

PS If you haven't worked out which ones are the cows in those fields behind you , then I'm sure that Tattoo Man will give you lessons !

Hi Sue!

I too don't get on here much since working full time for the NHS since last June. Just reading through the messages tonight & I found you!

Really pleased to hear all is going well for you. Are you still working? Did you ever get your echo scan done & get to see your cardio last August? I remember the trouble you were having getting your appts sorted out.

I love my job, & hubby is still working at the same hospital too. I launched into full time hours straight away.
Really enjoy it.

Had a few problems with my heart again last October but all is under control again now, thanks to my excellent EP.

Working full time, I don't get much spare time to do things but I'm still doing my walking which I love. I would love to have more time to get on here but I check the messages when I can.

It's great to hear from you & I wish you every happiness in your new home. Keep in touch.

Love
Janey xx

Welcome Back Sue!

Note to Ian.... I love that joke, I'll have to use it this weekend.

Sue, I hope you're baking nice scones in your country kitchen.

Casper

Thanks for remembering me :-)

Casper good to hear from you, sorry l left you to cope with the terrible twosome but obviously you have survived, well done. As for me baking scones ??? No, l am paid huge amounts of money to keep away from the kitchen, well the cooking anyway !
Tatman & IAN, somethings never change & thank goodness you two never do, you always make me laugh, maybe you dont intend to ? but you do. Have mentally changed your joke to sheep IAN cos we have loads of them but no cows.
Sandbags have been removed this morning but l have clambered over them for so long now l sort of miss them, so may set them up somewhere so l can have a climb when l feel the need !
Janey so pleased everything has turned out well for you, will email soon(ish) but l have just been so busy, sorry x
Take care everyone & l will start being more active on here cos l really miss you all,
Sue X
