Hi Sue
Thank you SO much for this post & for your very kind message, I really appreciate it.

I am really excited about starting my new job tomorrow (admin job at our local hospital). I went on a 2 hour training course there today, all about their computer system & how to look up & enter patient's details + lots of other things. It was really interesting & their computer system is much more advanced than the one I used for 32 years at the NHS cancer hospital I used to work in.

I am really pleased ......I found out today that tomorrow I will be starting my admin training on the "Acute Medical Unit"...which is a ward where patients are admitted from A&E. Sounds really exciting.

I also found out today that they have put me on a higher pay band than I was on in my old job (maybe as I have 32 years NHS experience), so I'm really pleased about that too.

All in all, I am really pleased about it all. Hubby is really pleased too, as he works at the same hospital. After 25 years of marriage (we celebrated our Silver wedding anniversary last week), we are both working at the same place for the first time ever. Although we will be working different hours, it's great news.

My EP is really pleased about the job, as are all my cardiac team. It is thanks to all their skill, hard work & dedication that they have got me to the point of being well enough to return to work after a LONG battle. They are fantastic, especially my EP who I have the highest regard for.

Glad you are better now Sue after your hospital stay & nasty Norovirus. I'll keep you posted......& thanks again.

Love Janey xx
