Spooky !!!

Morning!!!!
l had a nightmare last night, someone or something was hiding in my garden shed & then started chasing me around the garden.
l woke up suddenly & my heart was racing like the clappers & yet when l felt my pulse it was plodding along at a steady 60ish. l am just interested as to how that happens? l probably should know myself what the reason is but l am not technically minded at all & just know that it felt weird.
Any thoughts?(please keep it nice & simple)

by Tattoo Man - 2013-01-11 03:01:08

.....absolutely true story..for Christmas my wonderful Daughter, Louise bought me a book.......

50 Sheds of Grey.

This could change our relationship forever.

Quote from the book..."So that was it---it was really going to happen.Every mans ultimate fantasy....Three in a Shed...

Sue, yes I really am that cheap !!

Have a lovely weekend

Tatman x

Thankyou!

Ramnarayan, many thanks for your reply, maybe you could let me know what your doctor says on the subject.
Now then lan & Tatman, shame on you both for mocking my nightmare it did really spook me & my other half is away at the mo' so no comfort there either. l never thought for one moment that Tatman was in the shed but now that thought is ingrained in my mind l will be suprised if l sleep again, ever!!!
And Tatman are you comparing me to a growbag??? Cos,yeah l suppose there is a likeness..............
Have a good weekend, see you both in the shed later!

Spooky

I have had similar experience, but not connect to any dream. Once in a while, I feel the heart rate is high. When I check my pulse, it seems normal. I will check with my Doc - I am due for a check up soon. Best wishes.

Spooky...Or What ??

by Tattoo Man - 2013-01-11 09:01:14

Sue, now this is a real coincidence.

Last night I dreamt of you chasing ME round the garden....most wierd is the fact that this morning I woke up in the garden shed, next to a big Grow Bag.

I shudder when thinking of what happened next

Hello Sue..(nowhere near the UK !)

by IAN MC - 2013-01-11 11:01:36

I suspected that your query would trigger off some less-than-serious responses from certain parts of the UK.

Seriously though I dreamt that I slept in a Grow Bag last night and I had a rotten night because all I could hear was people chasing each other around the garden !

I wonder if your dream caused you to hyperventilate and have a panic attack.. certainly the thought of being chased by, or even chasing Tattoo Man would make me hyperventilate , not to mention wetting the bed !

But a common cause of many of the symptoms of panic attacks is hyperventilation.

While the body needs oxygen to survive, it also needs a healthy level of carbon dioxide. During periods of hyperventilation, your body breathes out too much carbon dioxide, leaving not enough in your body.

Unfortunately, this creates the opposite feeling in your body – it feels like you're not getting enough oxygen, even though the opposite is true. That causes you to feel like you can't get a deep breath, so you try to compensate by taking deeper breaths. This makes the hyperventilation worse, and leads to more symptoms.

I just lifted the last three paragraphs from an online article (so please don't credit me with wisdom which I don't possess) ... I just wonder what the heart rate does while all this is going on, also how quickly would one cease to hyperventilate after waking up ??

Frank probably has a shed so he will know the answer !

No more!!!

by sue uk - 2013-01-12 01:01:36

This is my last comment on the shed saga as this is a PM site & although my original posting was PM related we seem to have wandered off the track a bit (the one leading to my shed) & l think its only a matter of time until we get told off.......and l wouldn't like that.
So Tatman, you say what you get up to in your own shed is private, l agree......but this is MY shed & MY growbag. You are like a sailor with a girl in every port only you have a growbag in every shed, whats wrong with you man? how do you think that makes my growbag feel? worthless thats how!!!
Ian, no party in my shed !!!! l wasnt even invited to the last one & you expect me to host the pits (party in the shed) not happening. And l will have you know that my shed is immaculate ( except for the corner where Tatman introduced himself to the growbag) all my other halves toys (sorry power tools) standing to attention just waiting to spring into action .
So no more shed talk unless we join a gardening website............................Enjoy whats left of the weekend, but not in MY shed !

............we are SO going to get a spanking from the Mod-Fathers..but ,,hey..if this PMC is all about the Great Big World, lets all " Go Boldly Go,,,,"

We all, on this Forum have medical issues..no question.

Treatments are largely Invasive / Surgical / Medication led / Therapeutic / Costly / Sometimes Devastating........

.......as you know , over here in the UK we continue the old Norse Tradition of ' Black Humour'..Death being, fundamentally hilarious.

Sue..thank you for joining in with the Lark that was the brainchild of IAN and myself..(he started it ).........it will not be the last..let all that read this Posting be well aware of this fact.

I have said this before, and , if I might crave your collective indulgences,..I shall repeat..." Coming out of Cardiac Intensive Care..My immediate thought was...from now on its all pretty well hilarious ".....6 years on this philosophy still applies.

Love is the only answer

Sue, from ( I guess ) IAN MC and I, it has been a pleasure doing Fun with you

There must be another combination ?

by IAN MC - 2013-01-12 06:01:06

Sue ... I'm not the greatest creative thinker but....... your husband is away .. and me, Tatman and a growbag are consigned to the shed for a threesome . I'm sure this is not the best available grouping ??

Are you sure that your husband hasn't run away with the growbag ; have you looked in the shed recently ?

Ian x

Ahhh!

by sue uk - 2013-01-12 06:01:14

lan l see what you mean about the grouping you naughty man !!! You want rid of Tatman so it can be just you and the luscious Growbag.........
Well l think you may have a problem"detatching" Tatman from his beloved GBag cos l just peeped through the shed's steamy window and,well.....................not a pretty sight!

OOh No Missus !!.....

...........Sue, lets make this absolutely clear..an Englishmans Shed is his Castle. What I get up to in the privacy of my own Shed with a Growbag is my private business...and besides the Growbag was a mature consenting Growbag !

I have said too much already but have always beleived that a Chap needs a hobby.

Tattoo Man x

PS IAN made me do it. As my Twin Brother, born 11 years before me he has always been a bad influence on me.

Just a thought ?

by IAN MC - 2013-01-12 08:01:04

Tattoo Man ................. you know we were looking for a venue for the next PM club party ,( regrettably Sue missed the last one in your local pub)

How's about Sue's shed ?? It sounds perfect, we could invite PM clubbers from all over the world , what a time we would have, As her husband's away she'd have to tidy it up first but she seems to be a game girl. What do you think ?

Ian

Brilliant fun!!
