Nope, you should not have a problem! Our skin isn't nearly as tough as our hunks of titanium. If you have any symptoms at all like you had before the pm, give your dr a call, but odds are good you just bruised yourself.

Why in the world would you do that? LOL I'm sure by now that if there was a problem, you would of felt it.
We don't have hedgehogs here, but keeping baby aminals warm is a good thing. Feeding them, well that is going to be a big test at best. Good luck!

Thanks for your comments but poor little henry hedgehog died the first night he was so cute but l think he was injured pretty bad.
l still have a nice bruise but that is all,no harm done l am sure,it was just a reminder that it was there because as time goes by you do forget dont you?
Take care,
Sue x

I wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for pacemakers. I've had mine for 35+ years. I was fainting all of the time and had flat-lined also. I feel very blessed to live in this time of technology.
Hedgehog advice..

Hi Sue, sorry can't really advise you on your bruised chest other than seek medical advice, however maybe able to advise you on your poorly hedgehog, as I have looked after a few in the past. Well you've done the right thing about putting him in a box with a hot water bottle...(as long as its not too hot though) and if you can feed him wet cat food & give him some water this will give him some strength & stop him from becoming de-hydrated. Chances are he hasn't gained enough weight before going into hibernation & he's got himself cold & run down. Other than that you can phone your local wildlife centre & they will take him in. Hope this helps anyway! MelMel
