Went for my 12mth check-up with my extremely arrogant cardiologist to discover he had retired, whoopee!!!
And then l met his replacement...................placed his stethoscope on my chest for maybe 3seconds, didnt even check my pulse & that was it !!!!
When the nurse brought in my records, he never even looked at them, know idea what his name was, maybe he was the cleaner who knows???
Think l would have got more info at the local garage :-))
Then l got a phone call to say my blood test was showing an INR of 5.2 Whoops!!! no idea why, nothing has changed but had a pretty good nose bleed last night & now l know why !!!
Well as its my day off l am going to get some of this lovely sunshine, thanks for listening to my moans !

Your story reminded me of one time I went to the ER and the doctor listened to my heart and then went over to the metal garbage can in the room and started pounding on it like he was playing the drums! I said, what are you doing!!?? He replied, that's what your heart sounds like.
Thank God he was not a Cardiologist though! I'll bet all the members of this site could tell some really bizarre experiences they've had with doctors.
In fact it might be fun to read some others so I think I will post that question and see what we come up with.

How to drop a high INR
by donr - 2012-09-03 02:09:21
Sue: Doesn't sound like a very rewarding visit.
If you want to drop that INR Really fast: eat a pound & a half of spinach in three parts spread over 24 hrs. Brought mine down from 7.4 to 3.5 in that period! half lb of spinach made great bedtime snack!
Now does that sound a bit perverted or what???
