Hi all, just checking in

Been a long time from my last posting. Hope all are doing good. For those that just got a PM, we all went thru what y'all going thru now. Yes, things are not normal, but over time, y'all will adjust to having that silver package in you and just forget all about it. Well, most of the time instead all the time. LOL

Well, I'm still hanging in there. Still have my heart. And yes, still fighting this heart failure and still have hope. It's been almost 5 years now with my CRT-D. 100% paced and sparky knocked the snot out of me about a dozen times. LOL

Was at the transplant center last week for my monthly check up. Wasn't to good. They wanted to keep me and that wasn't happening. I do have to go back next week. There is a new med they want to try out on me, but I will have to go in the hospital for a few days for just in case. Problem is that the dubutamine infusions are not working to good anymore. If this new meds doesn't work, I don't know what I'm going to do.

So, that is were I stand, well sit. Standing and me don't work out so good anymore. Had past out Friday and busted my butt real good. The wife wasn't a happy camper. LOL

Take care all and God Bless, Paul

Hi, Paul
Glad there is a new medication for you to try soon. Please don't fight staying close by your medical care until you see how it works for you. We certainly do not get to choose all that happens to us in life, but we do get to choose how we respond. You show us all how to deal with something we never wished for but how to respond with courage and determination. Prayers for you and your family,
hopefulheart

Thanks

This new drug is base off an old drug that I had took in the past, but had problems with. The doctor told me that they fixed that problem. LOL Well, we will see.

They been using me as a test subject. Guess if something works for me, it will work for others. My case has always been outside the box, as I was told many times. LOL The good thing is that everything else works fine. Just the ticker drags everything else down at times.

God Bless, Paul
