Hi all

Hope everyone is doing good. Been sometime from my last post. Really nothing new other then some more meds. They are throwing everything on the shelf at me. It's getting to the point that I had just about enough. Feeling like a yoyo really blows the big on.

Next week I will be heading back to New Orleans. Lab work, Echo scan and Dr appointment.

They have no answer as to why my magnesium and potassium. has been running very very low. Even after I take a load of both of them every day. All they are saying is that it is not helping my heart any.

Oh well, hope everybody has a great day. I' fixing to go back to bed. Not a good day.

Take care and God Bless,
Paul

Potassium and magnesium

Low potassium and magnesium (and sodium) are serious problems. They are necessary for the proper contraction and relaxation of all muscles--and the heart is a muscle. The doctors are right. Being low in those minerals will not help your heart at all.

Many doctors know little to nothing about nutrition. Not their fault, but that's how it is. All sorts of complex biological processes interact to allow our bodies to take up minerals and excrete excesses. Some foods, and drugs will enhance uptake. Some herbicides, like Roundup, will hamper it. If you live in a farm community, even if you're not a farmer, you could be exposed to all sorts of chemicals.

Consult a doctor (MD) who specializes in functional medicine or an osteopath (OD.) Both have had extra education that might allow them to factor in diet and environmental factors in order to understand what is happening with you and help.

Hope this helps and you feel better soon.
