Good morning all

Just checking in. Doing somewhat ok, but having some real bad chest pains even right now. Been having a hard time sleeping due to the fact I been waking up not being able to catch my breath. Still doing the weekly Dobutamine infusions. They added more potassium and magnesium for me to take even though I been eating things that are high in both. Something about my body not extracting it normal. Just another side effect of HF. Of course when I wake up, the chest pains are supper high. Of course I been keeping this info to myself. I just don't want to put the wife under anymore stress. So I just pop a few niro's and hope I get some relieve.

My transplant team has been good, but I think they are starting to give up all together on me and writing me off. Was down there last Friday and my doctor was like in and out of the room in less then 5 minuets. On the way home, I had got two calls from nurses from that office to inform me that the doctor added even more meds. Maybe he was just having a bad day. Oh well.

Weather wise, it's been cold here down in the south. We had another sleet day. That makes 4 just this year were normally we only might have one in every 4-5 years. I just don't know how y'all people can do it up north. LOL

Hi Paul,
I was becoming somewhat concerned about you. I have not written to you before, but have always read your posts ever since I joined, 2 years ago. So glad that you have written, but unhappy that you are having so much pain. Also I am concerned that you are not telling your wife about your chest pain. If that were my husband Michael, I would be more stressed not to know. He tells me if he is hurting, and I tell him if I am. Anyway you are so loving to not want to worry Mrs. FF.
Please post as often as your health allows, so we can follow your progress.

I'm with AA and GH, I know I would want to know, she's with you all the way, she needs to know all the time. That's what love is, no secrets. Sorry your having a hard time yet and again. Always worry when we don't hear, your an important member of our family here. Prayers for you and family. Hope your Boykin is doing fine, not giving older dog to much bother. Jean
