Just an up date

Wednesday night was the benefit for the young man's family that passed away. The pirogue sold for $2400. I was really floored. In fact, the outcome was that we raised a little over $151,000. This has restored my faith in mankind. Over 400 people showed up for this. I even bought a duck hunt for two that set me back for $1100, but the wife gave me the blessing to do so. Now only if I could feel up to another trip up to north Louisiana. That one took a lot out of me. LOL

Hey Jean, I do have a few of there old calls that I'm sure Phil made. LOL They did send a care package for this. They live in the same town and knew the young man. It was at the same Country Club. LOL They wanted to come, but there are not state side.

Now bad new. I'm burning up with a fever. That has been hitting on and off almost two weeks. They ran blood test and everything looks good. It's 2am here and I'm afraid to go back to sleep. The chills are just unbearable to the point I think my heart is going to explode.

That is really a great out come, does give you that fuzzy warm feeling that things are not so bad. Well you spent the money, your going to have to take good care so you can go kill some beautiful ducks that have the misfortion to fly in front of your barrel. Go for it Duckman!! It's been a while since I have posted ... I've been preoccupied, but not with personal health.. Won't go into any details, but things are looking better... So sorry to hear that you are having chills & fever...I hope you start feeling better soon...
