Morning all

Just a quick check in. Hope to find everybody doing good.

Myself, I had the hickman line put in last week. As of yesterday, I started having problems with the dressing. This is not good. Hives and blisters. I am now trying a different dressing and hope that works.

Another problem I been having is my Blood Pressure has been running high at times. Even at rest. This is something I never had a problem with. With a BP at 155/92, my head starts to pound away. Chest pains increase a bit too. Only thing that helps is taking one or 2 Nitro pills to get my BP down. My home bound nurses know this along with my doctors.

Dysautonomia?

Do you by any chance have dysautonomia? That could explain some things, like high bp. I have it, the kind I have is Neurocardiogenic Syncope (NCS) and the kind that typically has high bp is Hyperadrenergic POTS.

hope you can resolve those problems...keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. I was down in Nawlins a couple of weeks ago... Went fishing in Barataria Bay... still some of the best fishing around... Ate lots of seafood, which is what you do when in Nawlins...'

Glad to hear from you. Reacting to the dressings is a pain, hope you find something that works for you. High blood pressure is always worrysome, seems like there is always something rearing it ugly head. You just hang in there, hope those good days show up more often. Nice to hear the pup is good, still wrestling with his older room mate? Prayers coming your way, Jean
