Hope all been feeling good.
Myself, been feeling on the better side.LOL Anyway, yesterday was a good day with some good news, but had that same news in the pass. After a bunch of test, blood sucking and another ultrasound, I was a bit tired. After everything was in, the doctor told me he had some good news that my blood work was a bit better and that my EF was up to 15% from 12%. My heart swelling did go down some too! Which is a very good thing over all. Only problem about this is that I went thru this in the past. I would improve and then for no reason, things would drop off.
Now some bad news. Fluid is back big time. Well over 6 lbs in two days. They wanted to keep me there in the hospital overnight to get the fluid off, but told them just to shoot me up and let me try to get it off at home. They were not to happy with that, but did agree.
Of course the ride was a killer going and coming. The storm damage did something that Katrina didn't do. There was a eagle nest just outside of New Orleans right off the interstate that has been there for a good 10+ years. Well the storm blew down the tree the nest was in. Not good due to I always looked forward to see the birds. I just hope the chicks were big enough to fly, which I'm sure they were.
Also, there is still a lot of water just to the north of New Orleans. Places that has never flooded in the pass. My heart goes out to these people knowing what they will have to go thru loosing everything.
Got to go. God bless,Paul

Hi! Glad you got to go home. Take care and work hard on getting the fluid off. Speaking of hurricanes, don't know if you remember Camille or not, but she took the brand new, solid brick apartment building I had been living in on the beach highway down to the ground. I had just gotten married in June and moved away with my husband. Still love the beach, always and forever. So glad you and your family are safe. Hopeful Heart

At this time, they are backing off again. My blood work numbers came up some, but this has happen in the pass too! My heart is still swelling to much, so they say.
At this point for now on, I will be seeing only two doctors instead of 12 for office appointments. This will be a good thing. They still have me going in once every three to four weeks in along with having blood work done every two weeks.
Fluid, well it is still with me. I'm not going up any, but I haven't got much off yet.
Hope, yes I do remember Camille, I drove thru that area about 6 hours before she hit. I was in Fla on vacation and they made us get out. LOL I had an uncle that lived in Gulfport just off the beach. There house washed away too. Sad, but living in the south, it's going to happen.

I hope you are able to get rid of the fluid at home, otherwise you know where you will end up.
At least you got some good news. I am assuming that means they are not going to put the LVAD in yet??
Take care, keeping you in my thoughts, Cathy
