New name for heart block?

Hi all, am wondering if any of you have heard the name Bifasicular Block instead of complete heart block? Saw my EP and this is what he wrote on my paperwork along with SSS/sinus Brady and Tachycardia Brady. Wondering if he is just using these terms to get my insurance company to pay for tests he has ordered. My diagnosis has always been 3 rd degree heart block or complete heart block. PS? I feel fine..😀😀

Bifascicular block

If you have a bifascicular block, it's not actually the AV-node itself that blocks, but two of the three bundle branches (right bundle branch + either left anterior or posterior branch). So, the block is located "below" the AV-node, not in the AV-node.

Thanks

I never heard of that one! I googled it but didn't understand what I found other than it seems like an old term, not a new term.
