Came across this term when I was chatting with another pacer chick. She was told that her pacer could be put in "conservative mode" during the last three months of battery life which will help conserve its battery?
Has anyone ever heard of this?

Sounds like EOL, end of life, where it cuts back function the last 3 months to conserve power. You don't choose to go EOL, it just happens at the end.

I have a well tuned pacer. I hardly know I have it. I am 76 year old, hike and camp alone in the desert. I have more energy than I have had in a long time. The only problem is my wife wants to have a knob installed so she can turn the pacer down.
