Feeling a little odd!

I was charging my iPhone and had the adapter end where the USB cord pulls in already pulled into a power strip. The power strip was on as the heater is plugged in to it and was running at the time. When I plugged it in I touched the other end which plugs into the phone. Of course it is metal. As soon as I touched it I got a feeling of buzzing in my head and then lightheadedness for awhile. Didn't really notice any diference in heart rate but it was a very strange sensation. Anybody ever had a similar experience?
