Can't get a good erection or keep one since I've been on this medicine and I'm sick of it ....... I hate this pacemaker - these meds and can't even have sex with my wife .......

I am in the same situation. I tried levitra. It worked for a while now not so good.
Time for a change ?

Hi Duke As you probably know all blood pressure drugs can cause this, particularly beta blockers so chances are that it is the Sotalol causing it , Insist that your Dr gives you something else.
Interestingly just this week at my golf club a good friend was telling me that he had the same problem until his Dr changed the Sotalol; another friend said he had the same problem until he changed his wife ! !
.... so the choice is yours ( and your doctor's )
Best of luck
Ian

..............................as the guys have said above all manner of drugs can have an effect on libido...a few years back I was on Lustral ..( good name eh ?)...its an SSRI like Prozac.
To tell the truth, I came to the conclusion that I would rather be depressed than ' flattened-out ' on Lustral . So I packed them in...et voila !!!
When I had heart surgery, back in '07, my view of the world changed and my depressive tendencies seemed to reduce.
Duke, myself and Mrs TM, have just come back from the Danube where we met some of your neighbours from South Carolina.....wonderful company !!
I really hope that you 'get a result'...having to take meds for any condition can be really crappy....getting ' no results ' in the downstairs department only makes it crappier...
Best wishes
Tattoo Man
Thanks

It ain't the pacemaker. If anything, the pacemaker should help. It could be any one or more of those medications you have listed. My money would be on Sotalol.
Not knowing just how bad you may need the medication I say talk to the dr. for a solution.
