I am a long time member. I have had my Medtronic pacer since 2005. I found this site soon after implant. I have not been on in awhile. I am posting because my wife and i are going on a trip. I know in the past there have been members on here that are from New Zealand and Australia. I have conversed with a few in the past. We are cruising there and have several 1 day stops in New Zealand and 3 days in Sydney. Just wondering if any club members are still here and if so, would you be interested in meeting up and maybe showing us some of your city. We are from Oregon State, USA and have never been to your area. Just curious. we will be there during late Feb. and March. Let me know here or by private mail and i will get back to you with dates. Still feeling awesome and we are seeing the world. Bowlrbob

Sydney

Just for your info Bob, Sydney has the most remarkable and affordable public transportation. Buses, subways and trams are very convienent. You can buy a day pass for the tram and get on and off at most of the major points of interest. For small change you can hop on the tube and zip cross town. Wonderful city. We stayed at a 5* hotel downtown and never bothered to rent a car. Flew up to Cairns for the second week and dove on the reef and left the paved roads with a snorkle equiped Land Rover and guide into the rain forest along the coast north of the last town. Happy we didn't get left in the water overnight on the reef.haha Oz is as large as our lower 48 and way to big to see in one trip, but Sydney is good start.
